Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can, and we don't keep your files.

Your files

Files and web addresses you submit are used only to produce the result you asked for. They are processed in memory or in temporary storage, and discarded as soon as the result is returned. We do not keep copies, do not look at them, and do not use them to train any model.

Handwriting is read on our own hardware. Your images are not sent to any third-party AI or OCR service.

Online tools

You don't need an account. To enforce the free daily limits we keep a count of how many times each tool was used, against an anonymous identifier made by one-way hashing your IP address with a secret key. We never store your IP address itself. These counts are deleted automatically after 7 days.

The tools use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile is provided by Cloudflare and subject to Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

API customers

If you sign up for an API key we store the email address you give us, a one-way hash of your key (never the key itself), your plan, and records of your usage (which endpoint, how many credits, when, and how long it took) for billing and support. Customers who subscribe through an API marketplace such as RapidAPI are identified to us by the marketplace, under its own privacy policy.

Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store card details. Paddle processes your payment information under Paddle's privacy policy.

Service providers

The website is delivered through Cloudflare's network. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. For API accounts we will delete your data when you close your account, except where we must keep records for tax or legal reasons.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page.
